JOB DETAILS

  • Full Time | 30 Hours per week
  • Before School Shifts | 6:45a – 8:45a
  • After School Shifts | 2:00p – 6:00p
  • Must be able to and willing to work both AM and PM shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Beginning August 18th 2025
  • School-Year Only* – Summer Optional

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Child’s Place – Downingtown School-Aged Program is seeking three (3) Multi-Site Coordinators who will be responsible for the day to day operations of our Before and After School Programs, as well as student well-being and safety. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with our established teams of teachers. Our Before and After School Multi-Site Coordinators are assigned to three elementary schools to provide oversight, guidance and support to our Before and After School team members. A successful before/after school program consists of the following:

  • A schedule and routine that encourages child independence and responsibility
  • A behavior management system that encourages students to make appropriate and safe choices
  • Activities such arts & crafts, STEM projects, outdoor time, gym time (if the space is available) and homework assistance if needed.

Our Multi-Site coordinators are responsible for ensuring our programs follow these guidelines as well as building positive, professional relationships with our parents, families and school administrators to support open and continuous communication.

LOCATIONS:

  • Lionville – Pickering Valley – Uwchlan Elementaries
  • West Bradford – Beaver Creek – Bradford Heights – East Ward Elementaries
  • Shamona Creek – Brandywine Wallace – Springton Manor Elementaries

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Staying current with and implementing DHS regulations
  • Organize, evaluate and oversee multiple school sites to create a fun and engaging learning environment
  • Provide support, guidance and feedback to ACP staff members to improve upon daily operations of the programs
  • Assist program staff with implementing lesson plans geared toward student interest at their site
  • Communicate effectively and in a professional manner with families, ACP staff, district staff and management.
  • Assist in maintaining ratios and preparing sites and staff for DHS annual inspections.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or MA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related Human Services field; or Associates Degree with 30 credit hours in one of the above disciplines – preferred
  • Minimum one year child development work experience in a school/childcare setting – required
  • Ability to successfully pass and maintain all background/clearance checks
  • Maintain an employee file in accordance with DHS and ACP regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | Must have the ability to:

  • Lift up to 40lbs
  • Repetitive bending, stretching, and stooping
  • Climb up and down stairs
  • Have mobility required to ensure the safety of the children
  • Work with children on the floor
  • Work outdoors in any variety of weather
  • Have visual and hearing capabilities that allow consistent supervision of children with DHS licensing safety requirements
  • Perform light duty cleaning
  • Light typing and word processing

SALARY RANGE:

  • $17.00 – $20.00 Starting

Starting rate is contingent upon proof of education credentials and verified experience working with children.
