About Us

Founded in 2012 by Tracie Costello, A Child’s Place is deeply rooted in our communities with a strong foundation of educating the whole child. A Child’s Place’s predecessor, Tot Time Child Development Centers, Inc., was founded in 1994 by Donna Parisi, Tracie’s mother, who successfully operated a home daycare since 1984. Growing up with this backdrop, Tracie’s love of learning and desire to continue her mother’s legacy, inspired the beginnings of A Child’s Place. A Child’s Place’s program is based on the educational philosophy to deliver a high quality, affordable program, with a strong emphasis on early childhood development that focus on the physical, emotional and cognitive growth of all children.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to partner with many local school districts thus expanding our child care offerings to elementary schools in the form of kindergarten enrichment and before and after school programming. We are grateful for the opportunity to support families as they search for child care solutions that enrich the academic experience and mission of their individual school districts.

A Child’s Place’s story is filled with a rich history based on the core values that are upheld each day in our classrooms. We strive to provide families with exceptional programs that encourage children to meet their highest potential. We are committed to develop a team of the most passionate, effective educators and professionals in our field, and we continually seek to evolve in ways that will benefit our students, families and staff.
